Dänzel

Dänzel got addicted to electronic sounds at an age of 4, fascinated from and exploring his Uncle’s new keyboard. After joining a music school for 13 years and becoming a professional keyboarder, he moved to Hamburg at an age of 20 aiming to become a scientist. Being a teenager during the revolutionary 90th and deeply affected by a constantly thriving electronic dance music culture, Dänzel directly started mixing vinyl privately and supporting the Hamburg scene with passion.

Having started performing as aDJ together with Wolfgang Klette (‚Klette und Dänzel‘) and playing in underground locations like ‚Universum Alltona‘ , he soon joined regularly at Events like ‚Sternbrückenfestival‘, and ‚Tanzcafé Halli Galli‘ at Prinzenbar/Waagenbau with both, house and techno containing DJ sets. Up to 2020, Dänzel was part oft he Sinus Hamburg Crew with a regular event series at Fundbureau lasting 2 years. Since then, Dänzel takes part in events at DOT Club or Beatboutique and follows several crew‘s projects focussing new events and locations.

Drawn together, Dänzel stands for straight-forward classical house/techno grooves merged with highly progressive and psy-melodic elements being also represented in the international, non-commercial festival scene.
